Nigeria conference celebrates youth, collaboration

By Christian Stephen, Elelenwo Rotaract Club, Nigeria

Recently, a friend asked me what Rotaract was all about, and what benefit it provided. It gave me a moment to reflect. Having been a Rotaractor for more than six years, I can boldly say that there has never been a better time than now to embrace the responsibility that Rotaract offers, and to use it to create innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Rotaract is a call to serve. And that call will be on display during January’s virtual presidential conference in Nigeria.

RI President Holger Knaack has instituted three Presidential Conferences this year to highlight the power of Rotary and Rotaract working together as partners in service. On 22-24 January, Knaack will be connecting virtually with my colleagues in Nigeria to talk about how important service is for Rotaractors. And the best part is: you are all invited!  Join us to learn what it means to serve and collaborate.

The event will harness and integrate the rich culture and tradition of Nigeria through tours, dinners, online seminars, breakouts sessions, and networking galas (in person or virtual for participants in Nigeria and virtual for others).
