Welcome

Welcome to our new blog designed to tell the Rotary story from a variety of angles and in many different voices. We’ll showcase stories of Rotarians fighting the war on polio—at National Immunization Days and through fundraisers in their communities. We’ll also give voice to those who are working to make a difference in our six areas of focus: peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.

There are many stories of Rotary service that are waiting to be told—by Rotarians, Rotaractors, current and former Rotary Peace Fellows, Foundation alumni, our partners, and other members of the family of Rotary. This blog will serve as a platform for you to share your story and inspire others to join us in our humanitarian efforts around the world.

I encourage you to add your voice to the conversations that will take place here, either by commenting on blog posts or submitting a post with photos or video for consideration. We can’t possibly tell every Rotary story, but we’ll do our best to make sure that many voices are heard.

  1. Glad to see there is a RI web presence that can be read on mobile devices. Clubs and districts could use a webinar on best practices for mobile.

  2. Quite inspiring. As I read the success stories, I get an urge to do something more than what I do now. My commitment to Rotary increases.
