Rotarians around the world celebrated Rotary’s 108th anniversary, 23 February, with a variety of events ranging from global swimming marathons to the illumination of landmark buildings with the End Polio Now message. See a slideshow of images from this year’s celebration above. Send us photos of your own celebration to blog@rotary.org.

  2. Now that Bloomberg and Gates have written their “Our Plan to End Polio” op-ed in the 2/28 Wall Street Journal we can all relax and stop supporting the effort. They seem to have everything under control. Rotary was not mentioned in their article.

    • Well I believe that you are wrong. We know that it will take another $5-6 BILLION to finish the job by 2018. That is still no reason not to continue our efforts that we started in 1986 or earlier. Quitters never win and winners never quit. The children of the world will be the ultimate winners and we must continue to do our part.

  3. we too had a Green eco fund raising program in regards of Rotaract Club Of Phulbari, RID 3292, will thhis be updated here in the slideshow if email you the photos of the program soon..

  4. Would love to download a copy of this sideshow for my on-going polio eradication as PolioPlus lead District 5520.
